About the Event
This trip is an initiative of GDG Garage Prague One attendees.
We felt that more time and focus were needed for some algorithmic tasks that we tried to solve at weekly GDG Garage meetings.
Garage Trip is non-profit event powered by sheer joy of the organizers and attendees.
The aim of the trip is to have fun and relax, which is supported by:
- Solving algorithmic tasks (alone or in teams)
- Outdoor games
- LAN party
- Board games
- Logic (ciphering) games - puzzle hunt, escape game

Highlights
- We chose an absolutely amazing venue
- Even though we scraped the accomodation listing website so hard we got blocked
- We used LLMs for rating the venues (via Ollama)
- We changed the design of our website and created a logo, see our design guidelines
- Never ending Whirpool and Sauna sessions
- We used LLMs for feedback processing and we focused on fixing the the painpoints like preparing food, chores and less packed schedule
- Discord Chores bot helping us to stay organized and keeping the chores load balanced Fig 1 Fig 2
- Food was delicious and almost effortless and we did not skip traditional BBQ burgers 🍔 and pancakes 🥞
- We had 5 taps, shisha master and bartender which resulted in most smoked hookahs in any Garage Trip
